1. In 2017, she created an interactive project Loaf experiment: Laboratory of Amorphous Feelings. Inspired by her work with clients who experience sensory processing difficulties, this interactive pop-up art installation is an innovative take on emotional literacy. Mental states are given tactile form as slimes and doughs of different textures. Participants play with emotions on both a sensory and figurative level. Karolina finds public engagement with the Slime Lab to be inspiring and sees potential to adapt it to suit different therapeutic settings.

2. Karolina continues her own art practice, which involves printmaking, mixed media and small installations. Her art practice explores the experience of having a body, its experience of healing, mortality, sickness and pain, and the attachments we create with objects.
