Art Psychotherapist
Welcome! I’m a Brazilian Art Therapist trained in Spain, where I lived for 10 years. I also hold postgraduate degrees in Ecology of Human Systems and Brief Character-Analytic Psychology from the Spanish School of Reichian Therapy (Es.Te.R).
I offer art therapy with a relational psychodynamic approach, influenced by systemic therapy, attachment theory and Reichian insights. I believe that body and mind are inseparable and that artistic creation—free from value judgement—is the ultimate expression of the human condition.
As an illustrator of children’s books, with over 50 publications across various countries, I bring a unique artistic perspective to my practice. My curiosity about the human mind and the roots of anxieties drives my interest in attachment theory, creativity, and respectful upbringing of children.
Freedom is a cornerstone of my practice. I believe the therapeutic process is a journey toward the freedom to be your true self.
In Spain, I supported first-time parents and women facing breast cancer treatment, and in the UK, I coordinated peer support groups for Latin American immigrant women survivors of domestic abuse and supported children with challenging behaviour.
In London, I’ve realised the importance of reclaiming roots, recognizing our place in society, and fostering community bonds. Self-care is crucial in this journey, and I’m here to support you through it.
My Approach:
My therapeutic style is relational, inviting you to express yourself through free artistic creation, whether online or in person. We reflect together on its meanings. In art therapy, free artistic creation is akin to free association in psychoanalysis. Every piece of art carries a part of us, often revealing aspects we were unaware of. Revisiting artworks can uncover new insights, deepening our understanding and personal growth.
