“Music and art are a passion of mine.  Therapeutically, I believe in moving at the pace of the client, using my intuition in guiding next steps.  This has enabled me to develop bespoke skills within my practice.  My experience of effective treatment for children, young people and adults within the care system has enabled me to develop positive and trusting therapeutic relationships. I believe that self-expression is foremost in our ability to be truly free.  For the body and mind to be healthy, free-movement and expressive ability is primary. Within the healing process,   it is essential,  whether it is through dance, singing, making art or letting go of negative feelings,  By listening to what our body needs., we can achieve our goals.  This Humanist, person-centred style of therapy is something I combine with the Psychodynamic approach; understanding the sub-conscious behaviour and how our childhood experiences affect us as we age.” We will work through these emotions in a safe and calm space through sessional work.”

Private Therapy sessions

I believe that flexibility is key in accessing therapy.  I will come to you as I do mobile work in and around the Northeast.  I have online sessions available as well as visiting community centres and schools.

Areas of specialisation

I have a wide experience working with children and young people within schools and the NHS psychological services.  I have worked with adults within long-term mental health facilities, I also have experience with group work sessions and one-to-one.  I have a special interest in working with trauma. I work with issues that are hard to express in words.
